Coffee Emporium needed its rebranded packaging to improve both aesthetically and functionally. Employees had difficulty filling the bags because of the small bag opening, and customers were overwhelmed by the wordy information on the bags. I worked extensively with employees to identify & create solutions for packaging pain points, such as adjusting the dimensions of the 1pound bag to make filling easier for employees.
It was essential for these new bags' exterior and labels to have an established information hierarchy that would anticipate customers' most common questions. Using different typefaces, weights, and sizes for the labels' information, I included all the necessary details about each coffee without overwhelming the viewer. This gives people what they need at first glance and allows for the opportunity to discover more about the coffees, reinforcing Coffee Emporium's commitment to cater to coffee novices and experts alike.
